Its Christmas Eve! And I finally got into the Christmassy mood(I am so so sure its got something to do with the lack of Christmas decorations at home. All I've got is a Christmas tree and some other decorations. There were more last year, I think.)! Anyways, there's nothing much to talk about today... But if I do talk much, then I might just be in a Christmassy mood. *blink* (If that didn't make sense, please ignore it. *nodnods*)
I noticed that every year, Kids Central plays the same cartoon over and over... The Alabaster Scrooge thinggie and the three ghosts. And yes, until now, I still don't know what the show's called. I think its "A Christmas Story" or summat like that.
My sister came along and asked me how many times I've watched it before. Well, I honestly didn't know, but I decided to shut up anyways, but not before telling her that it was a nice story. She acted as though she didn't hear me. OH well... Ignorant people. (Let's hope she doesn't read my blog. :x) So... she started channel-surfing(something we always do when we're really bored) and we both decided to watch a.... VCD! Eh... Lemme check the title.
Bowling for Columbine. Anyways, Columbine is this High School or something in America that has/had many many cases of violence. Umm... murders and such. All because guns are allowed to be used. So... even kids can get hold of them. Then the show starts showing lotsa stuff about the murders and what the producer thinks causes all that violence. And then he interviews people on the subject and most people say that its a tradition that shouldn't not be allowed.
Then the guy runs off to Canada to show people that there should be equal rights among all the races, and it was only then that I realised how safe and wonderful Singapore is. So... if you wanna know more about it, go buy the VCD and watch it! (thank you gissy for promoting the show)
Well, this wasn't a very long entry, eh? Oh well... To all of you out there: Merry Christmas! And if you don't celebrate Christmas, Happy holidays(or whatever you're celebrating)!
