Hmm... I see that the last time I blogged was... at the end of July. Yes, I'm fine already, if any of you were wondering. I'm just sitting here at the cdc down here.. A little bored, but that's okay.
National Day was kinda cool. Was working(yes, I was, okay! And quite hard too!) for the cdc again for some celebration @ tampines. Well, we only started work at night, which was really silly, cause we were actually planning to celebrate a friend's birthday(Derek's), and right after he bought the cake, he decided to go back to help.
We were there for some run with the mayor at first. And yes, I detest running. At least it was 400m! Only! But yes, it was tiring. Then the day ended really late, and we were to carry cardboard boxes of food and water(the water was so heavy!:P Honestly. Its not because I'm weak or anything.). And cause the place was so annoyingly crowded, we really had a hard time carrying the stuff about.
Singaporeans are so so so freaking rude! *grumbles* I am serious! Most of them anyways. Well, we were carrying stuff, and especially when we were carrying the boxes, people were streaming out of the area. So.. you can imagine. We were walking amidst the ickily large crowd, going "Excuse me~" in really loud voices. And guess what!?!? *gets really annoyed now*
"Shut up lah!" My God. My God. I just went "No!" I don't know what got into me. I just said no. And the group of girls just burst into giggles. Bimbotic giggles, of course. I mean, its not as though I'm not a bimbo, but theirs was the.. annoying kind. Yes, I know that I'm annoying, but that's different.
It was really clear that I was really irritated, because these people were just blocking our way and they just didn't make way for us to pass. Has it ever crossed my mind that they, too, are unable to move out of the way for us? Yes! But when I saw that, I kept quiet. When I saw space, I yelled. Makes sense? Am I being fair? I must have been.
Anyways, back to the giggling part. They giggled in such an irritating fashion, it seemed to me that those girls felt that it was very exciting to annoy me, and using the new term that I've learnt, "suan" me. It means something like.. Jack in the face. Wow, what a huge achievement!
*chills* Now. Moving on. Yes, every National Day, we get fireworks. hey are just bloody fireworks! Not very special, not very.. amazing. While my friends and I were there, amidst the freaking large and squashy crowd, slogging away carrying food for people we did not even know.. This is what happened.
(Everyone's in high spirits.. Well, most of them anyways. And they're all chatting and strolling out, yes. STROLLING out of the place. My friends and I, going "Excuse me~ EXCUSE ME~" to get them out of the way. A vain attempt, I must remark.)
(After a while, the fireworks go off. The silence was immediate, and overwhelming. Everyone turned back to look at the fireworks. They STOPPED, and turned back to look at the fireworks.)
*screams in frustration* My God, are they stupid or stupid?
Anyways, they were annoying, and that's that. We were carrying stuff, for goodness' sake!
Chill. *beams* I passed my Chinese! I got the lowest pass, but at least I passed. I haven't been passing my Chinese this whole year. Now I've got lotsa time for myself. Nay be bad, ya? *grins*
I'm not gonna attend school tomorrow! Have a dental appointment. And I would have had it after school, but the removing of braces can only be done in the morning. At least my braces're coming off! But my teeth are gonna look so so huge! Sheesh, there goes the vain me.
I can't believe a friend of mine said that I wasn't vain. *blinks* And he told me that I wasn't vain, and I just wanted to be. But let me honestly honestly correct him. I am vain, and yes, maybe I do want to be vain. I'm not sure myself. *blinks* Really. Ain't that odd? Maybe I -do- want to be vain so I'll be different. I mean, "its cool to be different" is one of my mottos. Don't you agree? :D I'm working on it!
